Welcome to Reluctant Saint: A Community Rooted in Scripture

Our unique approach sets us apart from many other Christian communities. We embrace our reluctance, understanding that there are myriad reasons why we may hesitate on our spiritual path. For me, the challenge boils down to trust. Time and again, I have asked God to prove Himself to me, and while this has not always gone smoothly, His constant love has always been my anchor. Scripture tells us, "An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign" (Matthew 12:39, KJV), yet I have persistently asked for signs. Through both His responses and silences, God has taught me about His unwavering love and the difficulty we face in fully surrendering to Him.

In our community, scripture will be our guide and source of strength. We have chosen to use the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible because it is in the public domain, making it accessible for everyone. When engaging in discussions and comments, please identify the Bible translation you are referencing and, whenever possible, use a public domain version.
