Daily Reflections: United in Christ's Body

Scott O’Neill
Reading Overview:
St. Paul describes the Church as one body with many parts, each with unique gifts and roles, unified in Christ. The Gospel recounts Jesus raising a widow's son, showcasing His compassion and power.

Reflection:
We are individually gifted but called to unity in Christ, each fulfilling different roles. Jesus’ compassion for the widow reminds us of His deep love and power to bring life to seemingly hopeless situations.

Application:
Recognize and value the diverse gifts within the community. Show compassion like Jesus, bringing hope to those around us.

Prayer:
Lord, help us embrace our unique roles in Your body and unite us in love. Grant us compassion to uplift those in need.
