Daily Reflections: "Feasting on Wisdom"

Scott O’Neill

Reading Overview:

Today’s readings invite us to partake in God’s wisdom and life. In Proverbs, Wisdom is depicted as preparing a feast and inviting all to partake. The Gospel from John speaks of Jesus as the living bread, offering eternal life to those who partake of His flesh and blood.

Reflection:

Jesus is the true bread that sustains us, offering us eternal life through His sacrifice. By embracing His teachings, we partake in the divine wisdom that leads us away from foolishness and toward eternal life.

Application:

Seek to fill your life with God’s wisdom by embracing His teachings and partaking in the Eucharist. Let Christ be your sustenance in both spirit and action, guiding your decisions and actions.

Prayer:

Lord, grant me the wisdom to seek You as the true source of life. Help me to nourish my soul with Your word and the Eucharist, that I may grow in faith and understanding. Amen.
